Relevant Content
The content program kicks off at 1:30 PM on July 15, with the presentation of the lecture “Inspirations 2026_II”. In this session, Walter Rodrigues, coordinator of the Research and Design Nucleus of the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal), will discuss the Product Pyramid methodology and the theme of the research materialized in over a thousand materials presented at INSPIRAMAIS: Human. With the main theme of Hope, the study expresses the urgency of emerging from the chaos of a turbulent period marked by wars and social and climatic tragedies. In this context, two sub-themes emerge: Community and Utopia. The first, heavily influenced by dance (ballet), is permeated by materials that enable comfort and movement. This sub-theme includes suggestions for technological bases, elastic materials, transparencies, satins, among others. The second theme, Utopia, features many prints, textures, lights indicating speed, playful aspects, varnished and shiny surfaces, and maximalist accessories, all with a pop and urban language.
At 2 PM, it’s time for the launch of the book “O Jeans do Brasil: Um Mergulho na História do Denim Nacional” (Brazil’s Jeans: An Immersion in the History of National Denim). On this occasion, the authors of the work, Beth Venzon, Gabriela Rizzo Cirne Lima, Jussara Romão, and Giuliana Castelo Branco, will talk about the history of the famous fabric obtained from braided cotton.
Next, at 2:15 PM, Saulo Barreto, co-founder of the The Human Project, will give a lecture. He will discuss a model for overcoming human poverty based on human capital formation in remote and underestimated communities, revealing people’s creative and entrepreneurial potential to transform their lives, their communities, Brazil, and the world.
At 3 PM, the lecture on the Creative Connection Hub begins, delivered by consultant and project curator Flávia Vanelli. She will speak about the space that brings together 25 micro-companies developing materials such as soles, insoles, heels, wedges, leathers, metals/ABS, synthetic laminates, fabrics/weaves, embellishments, trims, communication/visual merchandising materials, composites, and biomaterials for the exhibition.
At 3:45 PM, Vania Mestriner, Development Director at World Colors; Suzana Santos, Commercial and Marketing Director at Suzana Santos; and Rodaika Diel, Executive Director at Sugar Shoes/Neorubber will take the INSPIRAMAIS stage. They will discuss Fashion Marketing: Communication Strategies and Product Development.
Second Day
The day on July 16 begins with the lecture “Local Iconography – Amazon Biome” at 10:30 AM. In this session, Rodrigues and Júlia Webber, sustainability specialist at Assintecal’s Research and Design Nucleus, will talk about the project, which is a joint promotion between Assintecal and Sebrae Nacional with the support of Sebrae Pará and Santarém. The initiative, carried out in the territories of Santarém, Alter do Chão, Belterra, and Mojuí dos Campos, developed in-depth territorial research focusing on local identity. The investigation included elements such as biome, history, architecture, cuisine, beliefs, artisanal knowledge, popular festivals, and a color palette representative of the region. Based on the creative inputs from the research, Assintecal is assisting local micro and small businesses in developing products and services with territorial identity.
Rodrigues will remain on stage to deliver another edition of the “Inspirations 2026_II” lecture at 11:15 AM for those who missed the first presentation.
At 1:15 PM, Camila Alencar Brandão, Luxury Service, Success, and Training Consultant, will speak about “How to Enchant Clients?”. On this occasion, the specialist will discuss strategies to increase sales and foster customer loyalty for fashion brands. Camila conducts training with teams from major national brands, teaching how to provide experiences and increase customer retention.
