The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal), through Brazilian Materials, a program supporting the internationalization of the sector, is now open for registrations for participation in five international trade fairs in Germany, China, Italy, and Peru. The goal is to boost Brazilian component exports throughout 2025.

According to Luiz Ribas Júnior, Assintecal’s International Market Manager, these fairs, with their diverse profiles, play a fundamental role in increasing the sector’s shipments. “International fairs provide, more than just business, connections with some of the main global markets. Expectations are quite positive, given the growing demand for sustainable materials at competitive prices, premises that highlight the Brazilian industry,” he comments.

The first fair will be Expodetalles, in Lima, Peru, from August 5th to 8th. With approximately 300 exhibitors, the event receives visitors from over 20 countries, mostly from Latin America.

Next, Brazilian companies will participate in ACLE, one of the largest base industry fairs in the world. Taking place in Shanghai, China, from September 3rd to 5th, this exhibition is a great opportunity to strengthen the sector’s relations with the Asian market. With over 1,100 exhibitors, the fair welcomes around 30,000 visitors per edition, most of them from the Asian continent.

At the end of September, Lineapelle will be held in Milan, Italy, concurrently with Simac. Between the 23rd and 25th, Lineapelle will present collections of leathers, accessories, components, and fabrics to over 28,000 visitors from 47 countries. Simac, on the other hand, is focused on machinery, equipment, and technology and is expected to receive over 6,500 buyers from 130 countries.

Concluding the circuit of international fairs is A+A, in Dusseldorf, Germany. As the world’s leading trade show for materials aimed at the occupational safety market, A+A will take place from November 4th to 7th. More than 60,000 buyers from the segment are expected at the event, most of them from Europe.
