The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal), through Brazilian Materials—a program maintained by the entity in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil)—is promoting another edition of the Mission to China from September 3 to 7. This time, the initiative also includes participation in the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) fair.

With a schedule focused on the exchange of information and networking, the Mission to China will have the participation of the companies Fibertex, Injepol, Encaixe Componentes, and New Way. The International Market Manager for Assintecal, Luiz Ribas Júnior, who will accompany the mission, says that visits are planned to giants in the footwear and fashion sector, such as Louis Vuitton, Casa Loewe, Nike House of Innovation, and Nanjin Road, in addition to a guided visit to the ACLE fair. The agenda will pass through the cities of Shanghai and Lishu.

“China, more than a competitor to the Brazilian industry, is a commercial success story, so much so that it is responsible for almost 70% of the total produced worldwide. The mission aims to strengthen ties and learn from the Chinese productive sector, especially with regard to technological innovation aimed at productivity and competitiveness,” explains Ribas Júnior.
