The Brazilian components sector
OVER 70 COUNTRIES IMPORT BRAZILIAN COMPONENTS.
HIGH VALUE-ADDED PRODUCTS IN TERMS OF DESIGN, TECHNOLOGY, AND SUSTAINABILITY.
BRAZIL GATHERS OVER 3,000 COMPONENTS MANUFACTURERS FROM VARIOUS SEGMENTS.
A FOOTWEAR OR HANDBAG INDUSTRY USES, ON AVERAGE, SOME 3,500 DIFFERENT COMPONENTS IN A SINGLE COLLECTION.
THE STATES OF SÃO PAULO, RIO GRANDE DO SUL AND MINAS GERAIS STAND OUT WITH A PARTICIPATION OF OVER 80 PERCENT.
The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) works to promote Brazilian products and services abroad and to attract foreign investment to strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy. Thus, By Brasil Components, Machinery and Chemicals is the brand developed by Assintecal in partnership with Apex-Brasil, which represents the sectors of components, machinery and chemicals for the leather-footwear industry in the international market. The agreement covers the 2018/2019 period and carries out several commercial promotion activities in seven target markets, namely Argentina, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, India, Mexico, and Peru. The AL-INVEST program is one of the most important international cooperation programs from the European Commission in Latin America. It began in 1994 seeking to bring European investment to Latin America and with time, seeing the realities that were found in the region, it changed to promote internationalization and to promote and encourage productivity in thousands of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME´s) in Latin America. In 2015 the European commission launched a tender for the fifth phase of this program: AL-INVEST 5.0: integrating growth for social cohesion in Latin America, and the consortium of 11 international organizations that are coordinated by the Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce Industry Services and Tourism of Santa Cruz - Bolivia (CAINCO) won the tender to execute the project in all Latin America.
